Yepan Privacy Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026.

Yepan opens ebooks and documents that you choose to import. Imported copies, library information, reading progress, highlights and handwritten annotations are stored in the app directory on your current device. Yepan has no developer account system and does not upload this content to a developer-operated server.

The current version has no advertising, behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking service. The developer does not collect your book content, annotations, identity information or usage records.

You can choose to export an annotated PDF through the system share sheet. Any app or cloud service you select handles the exported file under its own privacy rules. Selecting an iCloud Drive file in the system Files picker does not provide cross-device library synchronization in Yepan. System backups may save app data in your iCloud according to your device settings. Backup and restoration are controlled by the operating system.

You can remove books from the library or uninstall the app to clear local app data. Export any files and annotations you want to keep first.

The developer is zero. Contact 497311172@qq.com for privacy questions. When you voluntarily email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer and handle your request.

Annotation Lifetime is a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payment information. Yepan uses StoreKit to verify purchase records on your device for purchase and restoration, without sending transaction records or payment information to a developer-operated server. Basic reading is free and existing annotations remain viewable.

The app silently retrieves a global feature-access setting over HTTPS, without sending books, annotations, transaction records, account information or device identifiers. This endpoint does not keep access logs. The last valid setting is cached on the device; without a valid setting, annotation editing requires Annotation Lifetime by default. The developer may make all features free for everyone. Existing lifetime purchases remain valid when this setting changes.
